Dental Nursing

Dental nurses assist dentists in providing care for patients. They are responsible for maintaining sterility in the instruments and dealing areas as well as helping to organise the odontology. By acting out tasks like making sure the patient is comfortable, writing down the dentist's observations, passing instruments, using a suction device to remove secretions and debris from the patient's mouth, preparing materials for fillings, sterilising instruments, and infection control procedures, dental nurses assist. A critical component of the dental nurse's job is ensuring the health and safety of both patients and staff.
